Bạn sẽ được trao quyền quyết định vận mệnh của hai tỉnh lớn với phong thổ hoàn toàn đối lập:
Latium: Vùng đất trái tim của La Mã với cảnh quan Địa Trung Hải rực rỡ, nơi đặt nặng tinh thần kiến tạo văn minh, truyền thống và sự phục tùng Hoàng đế.
Albion: Vùng đất đầm lầy huyền bí phía Bắc (nước Anh ngày nay), nơi cư dân bản địa Celtic luôn nuôi dưỡng ý chí phản kháng và gìn giữ văn hóa cổ xưa.
Xây dựng & Phát triển kinh tế: Thiết lập chuỗi cung ứng phức tạp, xây dựng các công trình mang tính biểu tượng của La Mã như Đấu trường Mãnh thú (Colosseum), Công trình dẫn nước (Aqueduct), Đền thờ và các khu chợ nhộn nhịp.
Đồng hóa hay Hòa nhập: Trò chơi mang đến chiều sâu quản lý tư tưởng chưa từng có. Bạn có thể chọn Đồng hóa dân địa phương theo lối sống La Mã nghiêm cẩn hoặc Hòa nhập và tôn trọng văn hóa bản địa để giữ gìn sự hòa hợp. Mỗi lựa chọn đều dẫn đến những chuỗi sản xuất, công trình và phản ứng xã hội hoàn toàn khác nhau.
Ngoại giao & Quân sự: Cân bằng mối quan hệ giữa lòng dân địa phương và những yêu cầu khắt khe từ Tòa thánh La Mã. Khi đàm phán thất bại, bạn sẽ phải điều động binh lính bảo vệ lãnh thổ hoặc dập tắt các cuộc nổi dậy.
